Being a private teacher I strive to develop in my students a deep perception along with self-confidence at exams and being able to deal with unfamiliar cases. My philosophy is actually based on the opinion that learning develops in an environment of mutual appreciation where the learner is stimulated to think and make new links for themselves. My sensation has been that one-to-one personal tuition has a unique importance to students because of the opportunity to break down the children' personal obstacles to study in a manner which lays the bases for a deep and lasting understanding of the material.
Analytic thinking
My approach differs depending on the child's learning style and needs. My teaching approach is built upon motivating students to think for themselves, using real-world models whenever they can. |To my mind it is essential to supply scholars with a working knowledge and to give them analytical abilities for building upon this knowledge. Training anyone to think analytically is at the base of what exactly a child must withdraw from any subject training.
The most important contribution
Training learners is among the most enduring improvements a teacher can make, and it is a procedure, that I find fun and beneficial. From my experience, I found out the effect of involving scholars through examples and of pitching material at a level that assumes wit and yet not specifically knowledge, blending the unknown with the known in a mix that delivers the person the disposition of possibility instead of that one of impossibility that impressive and official methods may enforce.
How I teach
I begin with questions the children are good with and step step-by-step to more complicated fields while their self-confidence is being raised. I put to use questions and examples to monitor understanding constantly. I really don't lecture to children or request them to remember things. Neither do I do the students' investigation for them!
I mainly focus on exam-style as well as last queries in order to evaluate, practice and perfect the learner's grasping and capacity. I also give a lot of accent to many of the not so much obvious but vital abilities which include essay structure and technique, logical thought, and the efficient use of graphs and numbers.
